2025 Draft Big Board: Runningbacks

Following the thin QB class, is one of the deeper draftable positions in the draft in the RB unit.

Below will be all the draftable RBs that have not declared they are staying in school. This is based upon my top 250 big board and is subject to change depending on the CFP, athletes that stay at school, and with the combine. The final big board with position filters will be released close to draft day

Cole’s Draftable RBs 1-28:

1. Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

  • Measurables: 5’9″ 215 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Ladanian Tomlinson
  • Predicted Area Selected: Top 25 (My board: 7)
  • Positive Note: Jeanty has powerful and explosive running ability with minimal weakness in his game including catching and blocking

2. Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina

  • Measurables: 6’0″ 220 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Josh Jacobs
  • Predicted Area Selected: Top 50 (My Board: 14)
  • Positive Note: Hampton continues to move legs at contact and fall forward if even getting taken down on contact

3. Kaleb Johnson, RB, Iowa

  • Measurables: 6’0″ 225 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: David Montgomery
  • Predicted Area Selected: Top 75 (My board: 46)
  • Positive Note: Kaleb Johnson finds highest level of explosion when entering the gap and meeting defenders

4. Quinshon Judkins, RB, Ohio State

  • Measurables: 6’0″ 219 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Brian Robinson Jr
  • Predicted Area Selected: Top 100 (My board: 52)
  • Positive Note: Judkins ability to run both inside and outside the tackles and gets north

5. Ollie Gordon, RB, Oklahoma State

  • Measurables: 6’2″ 225 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Rachaad White
  • Predicted Area Selected: Top 125 (My board: 53)
  • Positive Note: Ollie Gordon is a patient runner who waits for his blocks to develop when in stride

6. Nick Singleton, RB, Penn State

  • Measurables: 6’0″ 227 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Breece Hall
  • Predicted Area Selected: Top 125 (My board: 54)
  • Positive Note: Singleton can be placed in committee and capitalize on 65% snap without losing momentum

7. DJ Giddens, RB, Kansas State

  • Measurables: 6’1″ 212 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Tank Bigsby
  • Predicted Area Selected: Top 125 (My board: 65)
  • Positive Note: DJ has a low center of gravy making him harder to tackle

8. Dylan Sampson, RB, Tennessee

  • Measurables: 5’11” 201 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Jaylen Wright
  • Predicted Area Selected: Round 4 (My board: 94)
  • Positive Note: Sampson stands out with breakaway speed and electric burst once in the second level

9. Treveyon Henderson, RB, Ohio State

  • Measurables: 5’10” 208 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Alvin Kamara
  • Predicted Area Selected: Top 125 (My board: 95)
  • Positive Note: Treveyon works best in space and can provide a good pass catcher as checkdown relief

10. Raheim Sanders, RB, South Carolina

  • Positive Note: The powerback is tough to take down and can give a great combo as a short down back

  • Positive Note: Neal would work perfectly in tandem with a big power back to give change of pace

12. Tahj Brooks, RB, Texas Tech

  • Predicted Area Selected: Round 6 (My board: 143)
  • Positive Note: The bowling ball style gives his height an advantage to get below defenders’ pads

13. Kalel Mullings, RB, Michigan

  • Measurables: 6’2″ 233 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Braelon Allen
  • Predicted Area Selected: Round 5 (My board: 144)
  • Positive Note: Mullings is nearly impossible with proper blocking to take down when in need of 2-3 yards

14. Trevor Ettiene, RB, Georgia

  • Measurables: 5’9″ 205 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Austin Ekeler
  • Predicted Area Selected: Round 7 (My board: 145)
  • Positive Note: Ettiene has ability to catch out of the backfield without also being useless on short downs

15. Jayden Ott, RB, California

  • NFL Play Style: Antonio Gibson
  • Predicted Area Selected: Round 6 (My board: 146)
  • Positive Note: Ott is a patient runner without settling for short gains

16. Cameron Skattebo, RB, Arizona State

  • Measurables: 5’11” 215 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Michael Turner
  • Predicted Area Selected: Round 4 (My board: 147)
  • Positive Note: The new talk of CFB has powerful and energetic lower body movements

17. RJ Harvey Jr, RB, UCF

  • Measurables: 5’9″ 208 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Dion Lewis
  • Predicted Area Selected: Round 5 (My board: 175)
  • Positive Note: Harvey Jr has great shifty and one cut ability makes up for size

18. Kyle Monangai, RB, Rutgers

  • Measurables: 5’9″ 209 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Chase Brown
  • Predicted Area Selected: Round 5 (My board: 180)
  • Positive Note: This back has top end elusiveness that is up there with the best in the class

19. Jordan James, RB, Oregon

  • Positive Note: JJ has sneaky breakaway ability once he gets going

20. Joquavious Marks, RB, USC

  • Positive Note: Marks has a good combination of above average speed and power

21. Phil Mafah, RB, Clemson

  • Positive Note: A big back like Mafah uses his big body to help him gain advantages with size

22. Jaydon Blue, RB, Texas

  • NFL Play Style: Tony Pollard
  • Predicted Area Selected: Round 7 (My board: 201)
  • Positive Note: Jaydon does not have a standout in his game, but also does not have a weakness and the CFP helped

23. Donovan Edwards, RB, Michigan

  • NFL Play Style: Todd Gurley
  • Predicted Area Selected: Round 7 (My board: 202)
  • Positive Note: A big-time name in Edwards ha solid one cut ability can lead to extended runs around the edge

24. Corey Kiner, RB, Cincinatti

  • NFL Play Style: Jerome Ford
  • Predicted Area Selected: Round 7 (My board: 213)
  • Positive Note: He has ability to be a factor in the screen game and has solid experience

25. Leveon Moss, RB, Texas A&M

  • NFL Play Style: Alexander Mattison
  • Predicted Area Selected: Round 7 (My board: 214)
  • Positive Note: Not quite Leveon Bell, but Moss has change of pace to help a later game backfield stamina

26. Kaytron Allen, RB, Penn State

  • NFL Play Style: Alfred Blue
  • Predicted Area Selected: Round 7 (My board: 215)
  • Positive Note: Allen gives enough power to get through first line of defense constantly

27. Jonah Coleman, RB, Washington

  • Measurables: 5’9″ 229 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Cedric Benson
  • Predicted Area Selected: Round 7 (My board: 241)
  • Positive Note: His initial burst at the LOS is above average runners

28. Bhayshul Tuten, RB, Virginia Tech

  • Measurables: 5’11” 209 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Dalvin Cook
  • Predicted Area Selected: Round 5 (My board: 245)
  • Positive Note: Tuten has great vision to see incoming defenders before they commit
