Quinshon Judkins is the newest addition to Ohio State’s talented RB room and the former Ole Miss Rebel formed one of the best RB duos in the country with TreVeyon Henderson when he arrived committed to the Buckeyes on January 8th, 2024.
Judkins was a 3-star recruit from Pike Road, Alabama in the class of 2021 and played his first 2 seasons of college football at Ole Miss. In 2 years at Ole Miss, Judkins was named to the All-Sec First team in both seasons.
Judkins rushed for 2,725 yards and 31 touchdowns on 545 carries in 26 career games. Judkins was one of the best running backs in the entire country over his 2 years in Oxford and is looking to have another big year.
The true junior is now at Ohio State behind an elite offensive line and paired with another dominant RB, Judkins looks to make the most of his lighter workload and run through the Big 10 on his way to a National Championship with the Buckeyes.
Ohio State has the scariest running attack in the country and the addition of one of the best RBs in college football over the past 3 seasons has their National Championship hopes at an all time high.

Quinshon Judkins’ Strengths
Judkins is the definition of a violent runner, it’s extremely rare that Judkins isn’t falling forward after a tackle. Between the tackles he has great vision and explosiveness.
When a hole opens up he sticks his foot in the ground and bursts through the line extremely quickly. His acceleration is elite and he gets to his top speed extremely quickly. Judkins runs through arm tackles with ease and is too powerful to tackle high on.
Judkins has the attitude needed to be a successful power runner in the NFL and runs straight through tacklers every chance he gets.
His energy after aggressive runs is admirable, he’s the most excited dude on the field after a tough 4 yard run where he gets to run someone over. His mentality is elite, he never comes off the field and there were multiple instances, especially at Ole Miss, where they just lined up and gave Quinshon the ball 5 or 6 straight plays and let him go to work. In the open field he has great contact balance and bounces off of tacklers and remains on his feet.
Judkins biggest weapon is his nasty stiff arm, if defenders don’t come with power to make a tackle he’ll put them in the dirt. In the pass game, Judkins is a very willing and solid pass protector, most of the time pass protection for RBs is mostly attitude and Judkins has the mindset for it.
Quinshon Judkins’ Weaknesses
Judkins has very few weaknesses as a prospect. Despite his great acceleration it looks like Judkins lacks elite break away speed.
The lack of elite top end speed isn’t a huge concern, tons of running backs have had success in the NFL without being Usain Bolt. In the open field Judkins isn’t a very shifty runner but his power makes up for it but he probably won’t be breaking any ankles at the NFL level.
The biggest weakness of Judkins’ game is his lack of production as a pass catcher. In 26 games at Ole Miss he only caught 37 passes. That being said in a Lane Kiffin offense, it’s not shocking that a RB wasn’t asked to run a diverse route tree.
Draft Projection
Judkins is a Top 40 lock for the 2025 NFL Draft, his lack of receiving production will probably cause the #9 player on my pre-season Big Board to slip out of the first round but a team will definitely covet his elite running ability at the top of the 2nd round.
At the NFL level, Judkins projects to be a great, efficient early down ball carrier with the upside to turn into a true 3-down back with is pass protection ability and receiving potential.
