Booker is a people mover upfront, boasting impressive strength that is adequate for the position.
Standing at 6’5” 325 pounds the Junior Left Guard is one of the best offensive lineman in the country. Even dating back to high school Booker was a highly touted player earning a top ten rating and 5 star status via ESPN. In his freshman debut he rotated at both guard spots earning Freshman All-Sec Honors from coaches and was named a Freshman All-American by PFF.
Booker played in 12 games making his first start against Kansas State in the Sugar Bowl. After earning the starting Left Guard spot in fall of 2023 his sophomore campaign, boasting impressive numbers including a highly graded PFF performance against Georgia in the SEC Championship ended with a CFB playoff appearance, along with earning All-Sec Honors and being named a Preseason All-American.
Booker has played in all of the Tides games this year even starting the USF game at Left Tackle for the injured Kadyn Proctor, showing some potential versatility.

Tyler Bookers Strengths
Booker is strong as an ox and plays with an angry demeanor, often times being seen on film pancaking defenders. In the run game he excels in gap scheme, rarely allowing for double teams to get split. His grip strength is awesome and is very rarely being seen push pulled or having his hands swiped away.
In pass pro he plays nasty as well, looking for work if defenders steer clear of his gap, helping out one of his teammates. When he works in pass pro you get to see how strong his core strength is when he anchors and resets his body if there’s missed hand placement.
Tyler Bookers Weaknesses
Booker has things he needs to work on, he was not gifted with the quickest feet and while he excels in a phone booth, getting out on zone blocks and sealing back can be a struggle. Sticking with the foot speed in pass pro he can get beat by quicker interiors due to his feet being a tick too slow. His hand placement in run blocking can sometimes get wonky and he tends to not refit which is something I think will be no problem at the next level with coaching.
I think Booker while a good athlete is a tad limited in that department, and while he can get moving on pulls there just Im not sure that he’s true dominant athlete on film. After dropping weight (352 down to 325) the foot speed and athleticism has gradually improved which is nice to see but they still can be improved upon.
Draft Projection
I firmly believe that Tyler Booker has top-10 pick potential, and while being an IOL I think a team takes a shot on Booker in the top 10-15 picks come April. Booker is my IOL 1 and don’t think that will be changing, the tape this year has been phenomenal. Booker would be an awesome fit for teams that need a big presence to anchor the interior of their offensive line for years to come.
A couple teams and schematic fits for Booker are the: Chicago Bears, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Miami Dolphins, and Los Angeles Chargers.
