Andrew Mukuba has been a big-name prospect for a few years now. The Clemson transfer moves to a different shade of orange with the longhorns in 2024 and has begun to live up to the potential.
4 INTs and all timely in 2024 is probably the largest accomplishment of his career since earning all-rookie honors his first year with the Tigers. He has begun to provide the Longhorns with true consistency and a leader on the back end of a defense hoping for a national championship.

Andrew Mukuba’s Strengths:
One of the elite CFB cover safeties. His athleticism helps him cover ground in two high looks constantly.
High IQ player and emerged as a conductor of the defense in his short time there.
Able to open field tackle against CFB best athletes with consistency.
Andrew Makuba’s Weaknesses:
Is in between slot corner and deep safety size for the NFL. Six feet is also generous.
Can bait a little too long relying on speed, and at the next level may not translate the same.
Does not play cover 1 too often, which can hurt man schemes.
Draft Projection
Andrew to me is a solid projected safety in the middle of the draft. A lot of guys like Bishop, Hicks, etc. can translate to similar playing styles and draft pictures. I see him going right around the 100 mark.
Teams that could use a ranging safety are the Dolphins is Holland goes elsewhere and the Bills. Demand on guys who can play slot and cover 2 are high at this point in the league history.
