Dylan’s 2025 Draft Big Board: Wide Receiver

Dylan Cole January 29, 2025
savion

With 2024 being a seemingly star-studded wide receiver class, 2025 has a lot of expectations to live up to. Although it may not have the same top end talent that last year’s class had, this draft may be another one we can find a plethora of talent down the board in. WR has become one of the most important positions in all of football, and also an area where scouts can hit all over the board for value.

Below will be all the draftable WRs that have not declared they are staying in school. This is based upon my top 250 big board and is subject to change depending on the remainder of the CFP, athletes that stay at school, and with the combine. The final big board with position filters will be released close to draft day.

*Updated Returning players as of January 22nd*

*Could Repeat Big board #s from QBs and RBs based on updated returning players and adjustments from the CFP*

Cole’s Draftable WRs 1-24

1. Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

  • Measurables: 6’5″ 212 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Tee Higgins
  • Predicted Selected Area: Top 10 (My board: 10)
  • Positive Note: Tetairoa is an elite 50/50 WR who has an extended route tree for his sizing allowing him to win in and outside

2. Luther Burden, WR, Missouri

  • Measurables: 5’11” 208 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Chris Godwin
  • Predicted Selected Area: Top 25 (My board: 23)
  • Positive Note: Inside/outside alignment is the name of Luther’s game, and his ability to gain separation should transfer to the next level with better QB play

3. Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

  • Measurables: 6’1″ 205 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Chris Olave
  • Predicted Selected Area: Top 25 (My board: 34)
  • Positive Note: Egbuka transfers similarly to a lot of older OSU guys, while maybe smaller in stature, he can play all over the field and can strive in a motion based offense

4. Isaiah Bond, WR, Texas

  • Measurables: 5’11” 180 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Jordan Addison
  • Predicted Selected Area: Top 50 (My board: 35)
  • Positive Note: Although undersized, Bond has elite speed and breakaway acceleration that can be seen to correlate to the NFL level

5. Elic Ayomanor, WR, Stanford

  • Measurables: 6’2″ 210 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Michael Pittman
  • Predicted Selected Area: Top 75 (My board: 43)
  • Positive Note: Elic has efficient body positioning and steady hands in stick and hitch routes specifically on 3rd downs

6. Xavier Restrepo, WR, Miami

  • Measurables: 5’10” 198 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Jerry Jeudy
  • Predicted Selected Area: Top 100 (My board: 57)
  • Positive Note: Restrepo is a pure route runner who has great route tree versatility

7. Tre Harris, WR, Ole Miss

  • Measurables: 6’3″ 210 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Drake London
  • Predicted Selected Area: Top 100 (My board: 72)
  • Positive Note: Harris is your ideal possession guy who gives you smart play every week regardless of stats

8. Matthew Golden, WR, Texas

  • Measurables: 6’0″ 195 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Tory Holt
  • Predicted Selected Area: Top 125 (My board: 78)
  • Positive Note: A precise route runner who provides awesome value when called upon in a weapon friendly Texas offense

9. Tez Johnson, WR, Oregon

  • Measurables: 5’10” 165 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Brandin Cooks
  • Predicted Selected Area: Top 125 (My board: 79)
  • Positive Note: Obvious size issues ally for Johnson, but with electric downfield ability and big-time ball tracking tape, he will still find his way into the middle rounds

10. Jayden Higgins, WR, Iowa State

  • Measurables: 6’4″ 215 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Mike Williams
  • Predicted Selected Area: Round 4-5 (My board 82)
  • Positive Note: Higgins uses size to his advantage and creates solid box out ability to gather separation he lacks in

11. Jalen Royals, WR, Utah State

  • Measurables: 6’0″ 205 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Ladd Mcconkey
  • Predicted Selected Area: Top 100 (My board: 90)

12. Tai Felton, WR, Maryland

  • Measurables: 6’2″ 181 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Romeo Doubs
  • Predicted Selected Area: Top 125 (My board: 113)
  • Positive Note: Has solid break on routes and constantly comes back through the ball using his hands

13. Jacorey Brooks, WR, Louisville

  • Measurables: 6’3″ 195 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Vincent Jackson
  • Predicted Selected Area: Round 5-6 (My board: 116)
  • Positive Note: Brooks has very strong hands and rarely has concentration issues based on his 2024 game film

14. Kyren Lacy, WR, LSU

  • Measurables: 6’2″ 213 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Marquese Colston
  • Predicted Selected Area: Round 5-6 (My board: 117)
  • Positive Note: His play and film show a top 100 talent, but with the off the field accusations and unknowns, I think the 14th WR is his best spot to sit

15. Savion Williams, WR, TCU

  • Measurables: 6’5″ 225 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Nico Collins
  • Predicted Selected Area: Top 100 (My board: 143)
  • Positive Note: Savion can play underneath and over the top and is great with the ball above his head on high passes

16. Deion Burks, WR, Oklahoma

  • Measurables: 5’9″ 190 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Tutu Atwell
  • Predicted Selected Area: Top 150 (My board: 144)
  • Positive Note: Burks gets away with his size by remaining gritty and not being afraid to go over the middle and take some shots

17. Tory Horton, WR, Colorado State

  • Measurables: 6’3″ 185 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: George Pickens
  • Predicted Selected Area: Top 125 (My board: 149)
  • Positive Note: Drops have become a backburner issue for Horton, and he can assure a spot and gain trust in the NFL if he has a good catch rate %

18. Kaden Prather, WR, Maryland

  • Measurables: 6’3″ 210 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Alec Pierce
  • Predicted Selected Area: Top 125 (My board: 175)
  • Positive Note: Must carry safety help to stop Prather if you are in press with his solid acceleration and release

19. Antwane Wells Jr, WR, Ole Miss

  • Measurables: 6’0″ 205 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Brandon Lafell
  • Predicted Selected Area: Round 4-5 (My board: 181)
  • Positive Note: Antwane finds his few proficient routes and perfected them to make him a danger at points in the game

20. Kobe Hudson, WR, UCF

  • Measurables: 6’1″ 200 LBS
  • NFL Play Style: Javon Baker
  • Predicted Selected Area: Round 4-5 (My board: 199)
